White is one of my favourite
colours to paint a wall. I find it really neat, sophisticated, cool and classy. It
also gives you something like a blank canvas to play around with when choosing
your furniture, artwork and other choice pieces in your home or office space.
There are hundreds of shades of white, every colour in the spectrum has a white version of it. From
pinks and yellows to greens and purples, there are underlying faint hints of
colour in a variety of whites. You can look to kitchen cabinets, flooring,
countertops and tiles in your bathroom for colour cues on how to choose the
best underlying coloured white if you’re not all for the plain ol’ white.
There are
several ‘perfect whites’ for every space. Choosing the perfect shade of white for your space can be a bit tricky though. Bigger spaces and spaces with a lot of natural light tend to help you appreciate plain white more.
If you like colour combos
for wall paints, white is obviously a colour that goes with everything. But it is best to paint the walls with windows or those that receive more sunlight with white. Some
great examples of white combinations include:
1. Black and white
2. Navy and white
3. Pale
blue and white
4. Grey and white
5.
Sea
green and white
6.
Muted,
soft browns and white.
7.
Purple
and white.

include:

2. Add a large mirror with a different coloured frame.
3. Add wood to your room for some extra warmth. A coffee table or console table.

blue accents are popular colours to add to mostly white rooms.
5. Black and white paintings are classic and go with almost anything. This can be a gallery wall of family photos, street signs or art work. You can use dark woods against white or pale, muted woods for a completely different look. You can also go with dark accents.
